Geraldine Jno Baptiste Pierre affectionately known as Ma Tutu, passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, USA. She was born on October 16th, 1932; to the late Aaron Jno Baptiste and Virginia Jno Baptise-Austrie in St.Joseph, Dominica. 

She leaves to mourn 8 children: Carlton Scotland, Emmanuel Chris Skerrit (Annmarie), Corbin Skerrit (Julietta), McRoy Skerrit, Paula Jno Baptiste, Dr. Clarine Pierre, Verlyn Jno Baptiste, and Runa Jno Baptiste.

25 Grand Children: Dr. Donna Edmund, Donnalyn, Shyka, Dr. Kymora Scotland, Samuel, Kimora, Kyneri, Kishwana, Joy, Dominic, April, Russell, Keven, Jillian, Justine, Junior, Mickey, Nicole, Eboni, Nayambie, Savannah, Leandra, Sherika, and Zaizkine.

Sister and Brother-in-Law: Polly Jno Baptiste in Canada, Greena Jno Baptiste and Elandas Pierre of Dominica, many nieces and nephews. The JnoBaptiste family of Delices, Austrie family, close friends Angela Romain, Meglant Luke, Stephen Isidore of Dominica and Martha Jones in Hinesville, Georgia. 

A celebration of Geraldine Jno Baptiste Pierre’s life is being held at 1:00 pm on November 23rd, 2024, at the Gum Branch Baptiste Church in Georgia. She will be laid to rest at Oglethorpe Cemetery in Hinesville Georgia. Viewing will be held on November 22nd at Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville, Georgia.
