Earlier today, The Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd announced its sponsorship of Miss Tanisha Balson, contestant number three as Miss Central Co-operative Credit Union Ltd in the 2025 National Queen Show Pageant.
Mrs. Lorraine Henderson-Reid, Marketing Manager of Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd made the announcement at the Dominica Festivals Committee First Press Conference for the Mas Dominik 2025 season.
“We can’t help but be impressed with Central’s commitment to community. Central have been supporting sports, the youth, education, the arts, culture and the health of our members in the communities that we serve. We continue to place emphasis on the human aspect which aids in the growth of the Society.
It is in this regard, that we are partnering with the Discover Dominica Authority and Dominica
Festivals Committee in Mas Dominik 2025 through the sponsorship of Miss Tanisha Balson, contestant number three in the Miss Dominica 2025 Pageant.” said Mrs. Henderson-Reid.
Miss Balson is no stranger to the stage. In October 2023, she was sashed as Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd contestant of choice at The National Miss Wob Dwiyet pageant.
Miss Balson went on to win the title of Miss Wob Dwiyet 2023 and captured the following
titles:
- Miss Photogenic Award
- Bes Talent
- Best Creole Spectacular Wear
- Best in Wob Dwiyet
Mr. Lisle Bruney, Treasurer to The Board of Directors, expressed that the Board is pleased to once again throw their support behind Miss Balson, who is a proven winner. He said that the Board is confident that she will represent Central with poise, passion, and unwavering determination and bring home her second crown.
