It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Emanuel Bethelmie, better known as JB of St.Joseph, who resided in both New York and Dominica. He departed this life on November 10th at the age of 78.
Emmanuel was a cherished member of the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind:

3 Sons Floyd and Junior in the US and Larry in Germany
1 brother: John in the US,
7 Nieces: Vena, Valda, Debra, Alex, and Deserie Bethelmie, Sharon and Melissa Issac, all in the US.
5 Nephews: Trevor, Al, Obidiah and Berkley Bethelmie and Shawn Issac, all in the US
10 Grandnieces and grandnephews all in the US
Mother-in-law: Anthina
Sisters-in-law: Ina, Jean, Gloria and Joyce in the US, Marcella in St. Joseph
Brothers-in-Law:, Robert in St. Joseph, Reynold in the US, Curtis in the UK

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Emmanuel Bethelmie will be held on December 6th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Viewing takes places at 3pm followed by service at 3:30pm. The body will be laid to rest at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
